History

Bewlake Lift and Haul Ltd is owned and operated by Mike and Claire Blake, who are the third generation of the Blake family to be operators in the transport industry, the first being Jack Blake. Originally from Belfast, Jack moved to the south west of England in the 1930s where he ran a small haulage firm which would eventually play a part in the WW2 efforts on the home

front. Then his middle son Roy Blake entered the general haulage sector in the late 60s and now Mike has taken on the family batten.

With the modern general road haulage sector being renowned for its ultra-competitive nature Bewlake Lift and Haul Ltd decided to enter the specialist crane mounted sector, the families in depth industry knowledge enables the business to understand and meet site compliance and regulatory issues, as well as achieve the safety and delivery standards required to survive in today’s market.

Our specialist brand new Volvo trucks, heavy duty HIAB cranes, various prime mover and trailer/ draw bar combinations and experienced drivers operate across Ireland and the United Kingdom and occasionally Europe.

All vehicles can be on an ad hoc, Hourly, Daily or dedicated basis to meet the demands of your business needs.
